Process of inclusion of insects in an Amber stone:
Millions of years ago insects and micro-organisms, plot on a tree somewhere in present Baltic Sea. The organisms get attached to the tree resin which oozes out of the tree to protect itself from any infection caused by fungus. Eventually the organism chokes and dies in the liquid while trying to emit. With the gradual process of decaying the tree passes off and engulfs in the water it was standing. In the continuing years the organism and the tree resin eventually polymerizes and becomes hard and transforms into Amber. With years of erosion and changes in the earth, the insect infused Amber comes up in the surface with the Earth.
Chemical composition of Amber Stone:
Amber Fossil is mainly constituted of hydrogen and carbon atoms that formulate hexagonal trinkets. The molecular attachment known as polymerization among the trinkets rises over time and the gluey pitch converts into a solid rock. Exactly when the amber stone becomes hardened in the fossil state is not known. Amber Fossil is substrates for both hydrophilic and lipophilic carbon-based diluters and will soften in them. The diluters will produce numerous frail organic exchanges with the liquid in order to solubilize it.
Identifying genuine Amber:
There are meek pictorial observations and different tests which can help to identify whether the Amber is genuine or not. Some of the ways of such identification are:
v Molding marks:
The Amber Fossil of DR Fine Jewels should be carefully checked to see whether there are any marks of molding in it, like the stream outlines similar to the shallow, edging marks because genuine Amber doesn’t have such irregularities.
v Genuine Amber gives out warmth:
It is said that genuine Amber is warm to touch in comparison to other artificial ones. But to check the warmth quotient of the stone, rubbing it energetically creates friction and gives out electricity.
Rubbing an Amber stone produces a piney odor, which is significant and stands out when compared to the lookalikes.
v The weight factor:
It is very lax hard, but is light in weight making it totally different from any artificial stone.
There are different companies in the market offering such fossil form of amber. But is thoroughly advised to look for the genuine one and opt for such visual tests at least. The insects present in the amber and the clarity of the same effects the price of the Amber, so better you look for some certified companies or online portal.
